These instructions are for Windows XP, Outlook Express. For other programs the screens and menu commands may differ, but the process is fairly similar.
When you establish an email account with us, we will provide you with the following information:
- Your account name (AKA email address)
- Your password
- POP server name (incoming)
- SMTP server name (outgoing)
Once you have this information, all you have to do is put it in your email client (like Outlook Express).
1. Start Outlook Express
2. From the Outlook Express main menu, select Tools and select Accounts.

3. Click on Add and select Mail.

4. The Internet Connection Wizard screen will appear. Enter your full name (e.g. John Smith). The name you choose will be seen you choose by email recipients in all the messages you send.

5. After entering your name click on Next >.
6. Enter your email address. This is the "username" exactly as we have provided. Click Next >.

7. Now you need to select an email server type, and supply the names of the Incoming mail server (POP3) and the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server. Use these settings:

- Mail server type: POP3
- Incoming mail server: Enter exactly as provided in our instructions
- Outgoing mail server: Enter exactly as provided in our instructions
Click Next >.
8. Enter your account name and password. Click Next >.

- Account name: Your FULL email address
- Password: Exactly as provided, including upper and lower case characters
- Check "Remember password" or you'll have to enter it every time you check mail
- Important: Do NOT check the box "Log on using Secure Password Authentication(SPA)"
9. Click Next > and Finish to close the Internet Connection Wizard.

10. You will now be back at the Internet Accounts window. Select the account you just created and click Properties.

11. Select the Servers tab. Under Outgoing Mail Server ensure that the "My server requires authentication" box is checked. Click OK to close the Properties dialog and then Close to exit the Internet Accounts window.

12. That's it! Your email should now be ready. Click the "Send and Receive All" button on your toolbar to see if you have any email pending. It's also a good idea to try sending a test message to yourself and reply to an incoming email. If you have any questions please let us know!
